O Uirapuru Iate Clube segue em grande fase na temporada 2025. Neste sábado (19), o time de vôlei masculino venceu as duas partidas contra São Joaquim da Barra, pela Liga Paulista, em confrontos realizados no próprio clube, em Uberaba.
Na categoria infanto (sub-17), o time comandado pelo técnico Vinícius dominou o jogo e venceu por 3 sets a 0. Já no infantil (sub-19), os uberabenses também brilharam e fecharam o duelo em 3 sets a 1, confirmando a força da base do clube.
Entre os destaques individuais, João Guilherme Calleri teve excelente atuação no infanto, enquanto Arthur Batata se destacou pela equipe infantil. As imagens da rodada foram registradas pela fotógrafa Luisa Raposo, que acompanha de perto o trabalho desenvolvido pelo Uirapuru.
Agora, o foco da equipe é o próximo compromisso pela Liga Paulista, que acontece nesta sexta-feira (25), novamente em casa, contra a equipe da Funel Uberaba. Às 18h30, entra em quadra o infantil, seguido pelo infanto, às 20h.
Além da Liga Paulista, o Uirapuru se prepara para a estreia na Copa Três Rios, marcada para o dia 27 de abril, e também para o Campeonato Mineiro, onde enfrentará adversários de peso como Praia Clube e Araguari.
O projeto de vôlei masculino do clube, comandado por Vinícius, tem se destacado pela consistência, organização e pela revelação de novos talentos do esporte na cidade.
