O Jockey Club de Uberaba foi palco, entre os dias 21 e 23 de julho, de uma das maiores etapas do Circuito Nacional Infantojuvenil de Beach Tennis GA, consolidando a cidade como referência na modalidade e fortalecendo o esporte de base no país.
Durante os três dias de competição, aproximadamente 400 atletas de diversas regiões do Brasil estiveram em Uberaba, acompanhados por pais, familiares e torcedores, movimentando o clube e reunindo um público estimado em mais de 2 mil pessoas.
A etapa recebeu competidores dos estados de São Paulo, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul e do Distrito Federal, reforçando o caráter nacional do torneio. O Circuito Nacional Infantojuvenil é disputado em diferentes cidades brasileiras ao longo da temporada e tem papel fundamental na formação de novos talentos da modalidade. Ao final do circuito, os três primeiros colocados do ranking nacional conquistam vaga para representar o Brasil no Campeonato Pan-Americano, um dos principais eventos da categoria.
Como clube anfitrião, o Jockey Club de Uberaba esteve representado por mais de 20 atletas, distribuídos nas categorias Sub-12, Sub-14 e Sub-16 masculino, além das categorias Sub-14, Sub-16 e Sub-18 feminino. Os atletas fizeram bonito dentro de casa e, na maioria das categorias disputadas, garantiram colocações entre os oito melhores, resultado que evidencia a qualidade do trabalho desenvolvido pelo clube na formação esportiva, bem como a dedicação dos atletas e da comissão técnica.
Além das disputas em quadra, o evento se destacou pela excelente estrutura oferecida pelo Jockey Club de Uberaba. Durante toda a competição, atletas, familiares e visitantes contaram com um ambiente preparado para proporcionar conforto, segurança e bem-estar, com organização, praça de alimentação completa e espaços de convivência que favoreceram a integração entre participantes de diferentes estados.
O sucesso da etapa reafirma o potencial de Uberaba para sediar grandes competições esportivas e fortalece o Beach Tennis como uma importante ferramenta de formação de crianças e adolescentes. Mais do que revelar talentos, a modalidade incentiva valores como disciplina, respeito, comprometimento, espírito esportivo e convivência, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento pessoal e esportivo dos jovens atletas.
