Na manhã deste sábado (29), o Uberaba Sport Club realizou uma seletiva voltada para a disputa do Campeonato Mineiro Sub-20 da Primeira Divisão. A avaliação aconteceu no campo do Atlético, às 8h30, com foco em atletas nascidos entre 2005 e 2007.
Cerca de 50 jovens participaram da peneira, além de 25 jogadores que já estavam em treinamento com o clube, totalizando aproximadamente 75 atletas observados. Todos os participantes compareceram munidos de chuteiras, meião, caneleira, camisa, short e documento pessoal com foto, conforme orientado.
A atividade foi comandada pelo técnico Carioca, que ressaltou a qualidade de alguns nomes presentes. “Acabamos de sair da seletiva onde encontramos bons jogadores. Alguns deles foram selecionados para estar conosco durante uma semana de trabalho, para que possamos observar com mais atenção e analisar se têm condições de integrar o nosso grupo principal”, afirmou o treinador.
A preparação do Uberaba já está a todo vapor. Na última sexta-feira (28), o elenco que vem sendo montado venceu o Sub-20 do Independente por 6 a 0, em amistoso preparatório. O resultado reforça o ritmo forte do Colorado para a competição estadual.
A estreia do Uberaba no Campeonato Mineiro Sub-20 está marcada para o dia 18 de maio, contra o Villa Real. O clube ainda enfrentará Cruzeiro e América em casa, proporcionando à torcida jogos de alto nível no cenário do futebol de base.
A participação no torneio é uma grande vitrine para os talentos locais, reafirmando o compromisso do Uberaba Sport com a formação de atletas e o fortalecimento do futebol da cidade.
