O Uberaba Sport Club conseguiu importante vitória no Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva da Federação Mineira de Futebol (TJD-FMF), após ser absolvido das acusações relacionadas à invasão de campo e confusão durante a partida contra o Patrocinense, no dia 7 de junho, pelo Módulo 2 do Campeonato Mineiro.
O julgamento, realizado no dia 31 de julho, concluiu que o clube não teve responsabilidade pelo episódio, onde torcedores invadiram o gramado após gol do time visitante.
Apesar da absolvição, o processo ainda não está encerrado. A Procuradoria do TJD-FMF, insatisfeita com a decisão, já anunciou que recorrerá, buscando uma punição mais severa para o clube.
O incidente, que ocorreu na 8ª rodada, levou à interrupção do jogo antes do apito final, devido a agressões aos jogadores do Patrocinense e ao arremesso de objetos no campo, o que motivou a punição ao Uberaba de jogar sua última partida na competição no Estádio Parque do Sabiá, em Uberlândia.
Na ocasião, o clube divulgou uma nota oficial repudiando o ocorrido e se comprometendo a colaborar com a investigação. Mesmo com a penalidade, o time conseguiu superar o desafio e, fora de casa, derrotou o Mamoré por 3 a 0, garantindo sua permanência no Módulo 2 para a temporada 2026.
