O atleta Ryan Oliveira, representante do Uirapuru Iate Clube, garantiu junto aos parceiros Luan e Felipe Bessa, de Uberlândia, a classificação para o Campeonato Brasileiro de Peteca 2025. O trio disputou nos dias 26, e 29 de setembro, a etapa do Circuito Mineiro, realizada no Praia Clube, em Uberlândia, e ficou com o vice-campeonato.
Apesar da derrota na decisão, o resultado teve sabor de título. Isso porque a equipe campeã da etapa já possuía vaga assegurada, conquistada anteriormente no Campeonato Goiano. Assim, a vaga destinada ao Mineiro ficou com o trio formado por Ryan e os atletas de Uberlândia, que representarão Minas Gerais na competição nacional.
“Teoricamente, fomos campeões porque herdamos a vaga do Brasileiro. Tivemos que disputar a final para cumprir a tabela e definir o pódio da etapa, mas a classificação era o nosso objetivo principal, e conseguimos”, explicou Ryan Oliveira, satisfeito com o desempenho.
Com a conquista, o trio celebra o feito e já começa a pensar no próximo desafio, que será encarar a elite da peteca nacional no Brasileiro 2025. Para Ryan, o resultado em Uberlândia mostra a força da parceria entre atletas de Uberaba e Uberlândia, reforçando a tradição da região na modalidade.
